Guests appreciate the secure garden for dogs, proximity to local pubs, and thoughtful touches by the owners. The location is highly praised for its convenience to local amenities, pubs, and attractions, as well as being a great starting point for walks and exploring the National Park. The village's charm adds to the positive feedback.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy furnishings and a home-like feel. However, some guests noted that the space can be tight for four adults, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the modern kitchen and bathroom. However, there are comments about the garden's steps and wall height, as well as some suggestions for minor improvements, which slightly lower the score.

Guests often mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such extras are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Really comfortable and the central heating boost worked a treat. I would certainly go again.

Ideal for ourselves. A washer/ drier would have been helpful if the weather had been wet.
