Farm View Cottage in Parwich is consistently praised for its excellent location, cosy atmosphere, and particularly its impressive wet room/bathroom. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, and find the property well-equipped and comfortable, despite some mentioning a saggy mattress and low ceilings. The multi-level layout adds charm but may not suit everyone. Overall, the cottage offers a delightful stay with beautiful surroundings and a welcoming local pub.
There are no specific comments regarding cleanliness, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The cottage is lauded for its great location, with easy access to walks and nearby towns like Buxton and Tissington. The views and local village charm contribute to a high rating.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with an inviting bathroom and underfloor heating. However, the mention of a saggy mattress suggests room for improvement in sleeping comfort.
The property is well-equipped, with a fantastic wet room and a fully equipped kitchen. Some equipment may need an upgrade, and the multi-level layout could be challenging for some.
The provision of a welcome pack, including milk and biscuits, is a thoughtful gesture appreciated by guests. However, such gifts, while delightful, should not be expected with every stay.
A peaceful holiday hideaway in the lovely village of Parwich with its great local pub.
In the picturesque village of Parwich, you’ll find a charming and beautifully decorated cottage called Farm View. Dating back to the 1600s, it really is an attractive cottage to comfortably stay in whilst being surrounded by unique and cosy characteristics. Relax in the lounge by the crackling open fire on the comfy sofa and enjoy cooking in the bespoke kitchen next to the glowing log burning stove. When it’s time for bed, drift off to sleep in the comfortable king-sized bed ready to explore in the morning.

The cottage was very comfortable. Really appreciated the hot shower after our long walks. Beautiful location and the villagers were very friendly
Mr Jamieson
Amazing little cottage, great location with awesome views & walks on the doorstep, many other towns & villages & locations within a short drive.
Mrs Inman
Very comfortable and well equipped. Nothing forgotten. Only difficulty for us (both into our seventies) was the three story layout , which we knew about. Similarly, as you would expect for a very old cottage some low ceilings. We had a very enjoyable stay and we and our dog were made very welcome at The Sycamore Inn.
