    Beautiful cottage and village.

Tideswell is lovely and very friendly. There are 3 pubs a restaurant and numerous shops cafes etc. The cottage is dark but comfortable. The pre arrival contact was difficult. There was no hairdryer ( stolen?). A dishwasher would be more use than a washing machine. Sharper knives would be handy as would a non stick pan or two. There were no little welcoming touches which is bit sad nowadays. But we did have a good time. Walking the Monsal Trail and the river Wye was superb.
