The village of Tideswell is a great place to stop in; it has shops, pubs and local businesses, and hosts Tideswell Food Festival every year in May, with an array of demonstrations, stalls, and entertainment. Regular concerts are put on in the lovely church from local groups like the Male Voice Choir. Towards the southern end of the village is Tideswell Dale which is a nature reserve park featuring a fun sculpture trail. Of course you are positioned close to other popular towns of the Peaks, such as Buxton, Bakewell and the abundance of the rolling countryside.
