We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived and really appreciated the amount of equipment available in the kitchen. It made the cooking a real pleasure. We will definitely be back!!

Good comfortable bedrooms. Lovely log burner with enough fuel supplied for a week in the lounge, separate dining room, and a recent new kitchen. Earl Sterndale, a great (and peaceful) location to explore the Peak District. If you have an electric car, you can charge in Buxton, 50KW BP/polar. The cottage postcode was not recognized by our car or Asda home delivery. Put in Earl Sterndale Church as a location in the sat nav, cottage is next door.

Spacious, but also cosy and homely. We loved sitting in the conservatory and watching the birds on the feeders. And lighting a fire after a day out walking. Walks from the door, such as the strenuous dance with the dragon walk, and also many nearby walks such as the Roaches and Lud's church. Hope to visit again!
