  Staying at the Charleston in Seaford, I was awoken in the mornings by frequent banging doors with people coming and going from the property and the internal laundry room next to the bedroom.

  My husband approached a young male asking him to turn down the music, playing from his mobile. When the windows were open the smell of pot entered into the accommodation. I questioned wonder this HMO may be homeless accommodation or accommodation for immigrants but have received no response from Sykes regarding this matter. We are frequent cottage holiday lovers with Sykes and other companies but have never come across this type of arrangement before. It is totally unacceptable, in our opinion. There were also items listed as in the accommodation that were not actually there and light switch covers and the bath plug cover which frequently fell off. It is not possible to relax in the bath due to the end of the bath being boxed in.

  This is an immaculate, comfortable and very well equipped property.

  It is tucked away and extremely quiet despite being in Seaford itself. The owners are very helpful and eager to make sure your stay is perfect. If you are not intending to use the washing machine it may be advisable to bring some spare towels - although a set are provided. We were able to park on the road virtually outside the property. There is a Tesco store five minutes walk away and the town centre with a Morrisons only a few minutes further. The buses are frequent and it is a beautiful ride through the downs to the Seven Sisters Country Park and Eastbourne. We highly recommend this property and will stay here every time we visit the area.

  We had a lovely stay 13th to 20th September 2024 the cottage location to shops, beach and restaurants is superb.

  The station is easy 10.min walk and you have friendly staff there that are happy to give directions and also some pointers of what to visit. Seaford is a very friendly little place. The cottage is very clean and well equipped the garden area is quiet and peaceful as is the area of the cottage. We had no problem with the parking there was always a space We will definetly be going back next year and will rexommend to frienda.ans family.

  A well equipped property, which perfectly suited our needs.

  Set in a quiet, attractive area of Seaford, it is approximately 20 minutes walk to the town centre, where there is a good choice of bars and restaurants. There is a small Co op about 10 minutes away. We know Seaford well and can recommend Blatchington as a good place to stay. We will undoubtedly stay again when visiting relatives.

  Had a lovely stay ,really lovely place to visit, with Brighton on one side and Eastbourne on the other and a very good bus service.

  The rooms looked like new the only thing we found was the bed was a bit close to the kitchenette and we kept banging our legs on the bed. I did tell the care taker and he said he would pass on the information to the owner. All in all we had a great time
