Accessed by a lovely driveway, past the New Forest showground, this beautiful cottage is a breath of fresh air with a homely interior made for all the family. Arrive into the entrance hall, which takes you through to the comfortable lounge, a cosy base for a snug evening in front of the woodburning stove. The well-equipped kitchen has been designed to a lovely standard, with a country-cottage-feel continuing through to the warm kitchen. Beyond the kitchen you are led to a downstairs shower room. Views of the garden create a lovely backdrop to wake up to, perfect for a restful hour or so amongst it all. Stairs lead up to three bedrooms, each neutrally decorated and promising a soothing night's sleep, with a countryside landscape located just outside of the window. Comprising of two double rooms (one with the option to have two single beds) and a single, there is somewhere for everyone to unwind in style. A family bathroom completes the interior, well-matched with sandy coloured walls and a classic white suite. Wander outside in your leisure time, a wonderful set-up for some quiet time on the patio area, whilst the children enjoy the lawned garden, all enclosed. Voted one of the best places to live in the UK, Brockenhurst is appreciated for its collection of tearooms, pubs and restaurants, here to elevate your stay. Within a few miles of the sea and the heart of the forest only a few minutes' walk away, this is a sight-seeing haven, ideal for strolling the area, enjoying picnics, or taking a trip to Lyndhurst for a wonderful family day out. The village is well known for its diversity of shops, tearooms, pubs and high quality restaurants, certainly worth a visit. There are also forest tours with wagon and horses, forest walks of varying lengths, suited for all visitors. Every year there is a village fête on the Bank Holiday Monday in August. Cadnam is within reaching distance and Lyndhurst is a great place for families to visit.

Appreciated all the clean towels etc. Only a couple of small things, in your advert online, it shows comfortable garden furniture but when we arrived, it was just a wooden picnic bench/ table. So we never got to enjoy the lovely big garden, as wasnât anything comfortable to sit out there, despite the beautiful weather! Also, maybe a full length mirror in one of the rooms would be useful, if convenient. Many thanks, Debbie Jaye

I can not find fault with anything and only suggestion would benefit from an extension to hand rail at top/turn of stairs. Also a couple of comfy garden chairs would get thumbs up! On last evening we lit the wood burner and it was brilliant - Quin loved it too! Did a lot of walks from cottage- the forest literally on our doorstep. Welcoming pack probably best I have ever had and flowers were a lovely touch. Parking was perfect and apart from traffic to and from camp site it was a very safe and peaceful area. Mentioning the camp site I can honestly say its existence was hardly seen or heard. I really hope to return and share this wonderful cottage with other members of family and friends.

We had everything we needed and it was all in good working order. We would happily stay here again, as a family or with friends. The only addition that we would welcome is some garden chairs or loungers for the lawn area so you can sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The picnic table is fine for eating meals or a morning coffee but there was nothing to relax on to read or sunbathe or just enjoy the birds and bats. Or doze, if youâre like my husband!
