Boasting a central position within the seaside town of Sandown is this 1840s built property, Lancaster House, making a superb base for your next family holiday to the coast of the Isle of Wight. Once the Town Hall, this spacious accommodation exudes a traditional-style with a clever blend of contemporary furnishings and elegance, offering a wonderful retreat for a group of friends and families. Head into the kitchen/sitting room, a space designed to bring all of your loved ones together in the evening to unwind and to plan the next day’s adventures. Being centrally located, you are just a short distance away from plenty of places to eat and drink, with no shortage of different cuisines and places to grab an ice cream as you meander down to the beach; guests can even visit the annual Garlic Bread Festival or experience the Chale Show which displays horticulture, entertainment, food and endless fun! You are just a short stroll from Sandown train station where you can hop onto the newly refurbished ex-London tube trains straight from Southampton to Ryde FastCat. Close to the beach and a superb base for exploring the island. Plenty of parking nearby and the Island-wide parking permission provided by the owner made parking at our visits around the island no problem at all - and free! Altogether a foundation for a great holiday on the Isle of Wight.
