Umballa, a semi-detached house from the Victorian era renovated to retain original features, has lovely views of the sea on the west of Herne Bay near Hampton Pier in Kent. A short walk along the sea front leads to shops, restaurants, a cinema and theatre and sports facilities, and Canterbury is only eight miles away.
