About this property

Located in the Conservation Area of Deal, this stunning character property offers plenty of style and charm with a mixture of modern and retro chic. It is situated in the heart of one of the prettiest towns in Kent, surrounded by Georgian architecture and fisherman’s cottages which line the cobbled, winding streets. It is a real gem at any time of the year for a family seaside get-together or for couples. There is a pebble beach (0.2 miles) with an unspoilt seafront and Deal Castle (1 mile) is perfect for history enthusiasts. Deal is a foodie heaven with a plethora of pubs, cafes and restaurants. It also has an impressive range of speciality food shops. There are many walking trails in the area; try the White Cliffs to Dover trail or pick a path along the Saxon Shore Way. Deal also has a good artsy reputation with many galleries, exhibitions and museums.

On the ground floor there are two reception rooms; a beautifully styled living room with an open brick fireplace and comfortable seating and a dining room with views onto the street. This room is both elegant and fun with a bold upcycled sixty’s dining table large enough to seat eight guests. It boasts dark wood panelling and a cosy wood stove. Along the corridor to the well-equipped kitchen, which is full of natural light, and an adjoining sunroom, which has a vaulted glass ceiling with doors to the enclosed courtyard. There is also a ground floor cloakroom. Upstairs to the first floor you will find a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a rope handrail to the first and second floors. The second floor is where you will find the second king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom with another majestic free-standing bath and separate shower. Three rooms have built-in wardrobes, and three have Smart TVs.

Step outside into the enclosed courtyard from the kitchen or the sunroom to enjoy this private space. This is a great area for relaxing and alfresco dining with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ.
