The cottage dates back to c1650 and retains many of its original features, including the original Cotswolds stone floor and winding stone staircase. It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard, using lovely traditional fabrics, old antique pine furniture and crisp linens. Being ideally situated in the centre of the historic Cotswolds market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, the cottage is only a minute's walk from the market square with its restaurants, gastro-pubs, delicatessens, art galleries and shops. Stow-on-the-Wold is also perfectly situated for exploring the Cotswolds, with popular towns and villages such as Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton and Broadway just a short drive away. Avon are too within easy driving distance making this an ideal place to base yourself. For those feeling energetic, there are a good selection of lovely countryside walks from the front door to pretty Cotswolds villages.

Accommodation comprises:

Large main bedroom with a super king double which can be unzipped and the beds made up as singles if you wish. There is a large wardrobe with shelving, and another cupboard with a washing machine and drying rack. There are fresh flowers in the fireplace.

Second bedroom again with king size bed, which can also be unzipped into two single beds.

Shower room with power shower, WC and wash basin.

Outside: The garden has many beds of flowers and herbs surrounding the seating area, with table and chairs and parasol as it is a sun trap.

Additional information: Prices include linen, towels, logs electricity and gas. Maximum of two dogs allowed but must be kept downstairs.
