Little Batts is a charming cottage praised for its comfort, historic character, and well-appointed kitchen. Guests enjoyed the beautiful bathroom, effective heating, and the helpful welcome pack. The property's tranquil setting makes it a convenient base for exploring local attractions, and it has been recommended to friends by satisfied visitors.
Reviews indicate that while the property has many clean areas, there are concerns about carpet stains, spider webs, and a general feeling of grubbiness in some parts. These issues have affected the overall perception of cleanliness.
The property is appreciated for its beautiful and tranquil setting in a lovely area of England. However, some guests experienced difficulty finding the property at night due to insufficient lighting, and there was a minor issue with parking.
The property is generally seen as comfortable, with cosy furnishings and awesome heating. However, some guests found the beds and sofa less comfortable, affecting the overall comfort score.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. However, issues with heating, appliance instructions, and maintenance concerns such as a dangerous step and a non-lockable connecting door have been noted.
While guests appreciated the welcome pack and the property's equipment, there is no mention of gifts, and therefore it cannot be determined if thoughtfulness in the form of gifts is a consistent practice at this property.

We had all we needed for a terrific few days of relaxation.

there was no control over the heating, so most of there stay was a cold place, i visited on Sunday and it was warmer outside than inside, unacceptable for old age pensioners, this seems to be mentioned in other feedbacks as well so needs sorting

Would have been useful to know in advance that the garden isnât secure as we had our dog with us. There was no mention of the pool when we booked which was a shame as we might have used it if weâd known. The property itself was very well equipped and nicely laid out and easy to find as there was clear signage from the road. It was spotlessly clean too. There was an issue with a missing back door key when we arrived which was sorted very quickly after we raised it. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to friends.
