The Courtyard comprises of newly renovated, luxury accommodation, all on the ground floor. There are 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms, one super kind and one king, have zip-and-link beds so can be double or twins. There is one more king double and one twin room. There is a double sofa bed in the sitting room, with a shower room. There are also 2 z-beds and a cot available. The Courtyard has a large impressive sitting room and a dining room that sits 12.

Available for holiday lets plus weekend and weekday breaks. Sleeps 8 people. Maximum occupancy 10, using either a double sofa bed in the sitting room or 2 z-beds.

The Courtyard is in a secluded position in the grounds of Holmby House with a two acre enclosed garden, tennis court, table tennis, croquet lawn and outdoor heated swimming pool. The main garden and all the facilities are for the exclusive use of guests staying in The Courtyard. It is situated on the edge of the small North Oxfordshire village of Sibford Ferris. Recently voted by the Times as the No. 1 Village in South England, the village is on the edge of the Cotswolds, surrounded by beautiful undulating countryside. With its close proximity to Banbury, Soho Farmhouse, Oxford, Chipping Norton and Stratford upon Avon, there are many places to visit in addition to all the lovely Cotswolds villages and towns.

There is a large impressive sitting room with views of the gardens, swimming pool and the hills beyond. The dining room can accommodate up to 12 people. It has French doors which lead onto a small, west facing, intimate patio where beautiful sunsets can be experienced.

There are four double bedrooms, 1 being a double, I a twin and the other two either twin or double. All have high quality beds and linen and are tastefully furnished with antiques. Towels and toiletries are provided, as are swimming towels when the pool is open. All the rooms have either en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms (with power showers) and there is an 5th shower room off the sitting room for anyone using the sofa bed. There is a phone line with broadband in the Courtyard, with good, enhanced wireless network access throughout the property. There is a large LCD WiFi TV in the sitting room, with small TV’s in the bedrooms.

Outside

The main terrace is east facing and the outside sofas and chairs provide an ideal place for sunny breakfasts and coffee.

French doors from the sitting room open up to a balcony from which steps lead down to the swimming pool terrace, where there are BBQ facilities, sunbeds and a poolside dining table.

Up to 3 dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. (There is a small charge) The fully enclosed garden provides a safe haven. The adjacent field is part of the property with paths meandering around the four acres. There is a pond and stream, fed by a spring at the top of the field. It is an ideal place to exercise dogs.

There are stunning views over the carefully tended gardens and beyond, with lovely walks and cycling routes from the doorstep. Bicycles can be hired locally and delivered to the house. There is a well stocked village shop a two minute walk away and there is a gastronomic pub in the other half of the village called The Wykham Arms, Sibford Gower.
