Guests say

The Anchorage in Bournemouth receives positive feedback for its bright, clean spaces and convenient location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as a welcome cake and the suitability for guests with pets and reduced mobility. While some minor issues are noted, the overall experience is one of comfort and enjoyment, making it a desirable base for exploring Dorset.

Most reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, with mentions of it being bright and clean. However, one review notes the need for carpet cleaning, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, shopping areas, and dog-friendly amenities, making it an ideal spot for visitors.

The property is generally considered comfortable, especially for groups of four, with a spacious living area and good facilities. However, there is a suggestion that it may not be as comfortable for six people due to bedding arrangements.

Facilities are well-received with a special mention of the walk-in shower for those with reduced mobility. Some concerns about maintenance and the need for more kitchenware slightly affect the score.

Guests are delighted by the thoughtful extras such as a freshly baked cake and hidden extras. While these are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

It is decorated in nice neutral shades. On arrival there was a lovely Lemon cake and fresh flowers in a vase and milk in the fridge. It felt really homely and welcoming. This is the second time we have stayed in one of Helen’s apartments and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It’s only a short walk along the street to the beach or a nice walk through the Chine to the seafront. It’s set in the middle so a lovely walk to Bournemouth pier one way and a nice stroll to Sandbanks the other. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and yes we certainly would stay here again. Thank you Helen and family for making our stay happy and comfortable. Debbie.

Very spacious with lovely neutral decor and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners left a home baked cake and fresh flowers for our arrival which was a lovely treat. Communication and helpfulness from the owners was faultless. The location was absolutely perfect for us as the dog friendly beach was a short stroll along the promenade. We also found that many of the restaurants were also very accommodating if you have a four legged friend. A perfect base for exploring this stunning part of the country.
