Guests say

Lulu Logs is a well-received holiday lodge with a sixties theme, praised for its comfort, thoughtful touches, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, the ease of access for disabled visitors, and the presence of wildlife. While most reviews are positive, noting cleanliness and a homely feel, some guests have reported maintenance issues and concerns with cleanliness in the kitchen.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the lodge clean and comfortable, with clean linen and towels provided. However, there were isolated reports of a mildew smell on towels and unclean kitchenware, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is frequently praised for being peaceful and convenient, with easy access to local attractions and pubs. The presence of wildlife adds to the charm, contributing to a high score.

Guests generally find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The sixties theme is a hit, and the lodge is suitable for disabled guests, although some had issues with heating and bathroom facilities.

The lodge is well-equipped and guests appreciate the welcome pack. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as problems with the hot water, dishwasher, and oven, which affect the score.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome packs and 'in case you forgot' packs. While these are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gestures are subject to the hosts' discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Greeted with a lovely welcome hamper & card.. with a very informative welcome pack. The lodge is decorated out beautifully. The land the lodge is on is brilliant, with a great big field & you’re also facing out at the sunsets. The ceiling fans are a great idea too. We had a really lovely comfortable stay. The owners are on hand if you did need anything. Totally recommend.

Ample crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc but only 4 dining room chairs for a 6 berth home. To many 'niknaks' on all surfaces for my taste but we moved these to make room for our clutter
