Primrose End is a charming cottage in Cornwall, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and cosy comfort. Guests appreciate the well-maintained garden, thoughtful touches like homemade scones, and the property's convenience as a base for exploring. While compact, it offers a tranquil retreat with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with only one report of some cleanliness issues which seem to be an isolated incident. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences of guests.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions, with easy access to both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. The peaceful countryside setting is a highlight, although the lack of street lighting and direct garden access are noted.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a cosy wood burner and a lovely bath. Some guests suggest that the space is more suited for solo travellers or couples due to its size, and there are mixed reviews about the softness of the mattress and the size of the sofa.
The cottage is well-equipped with necessary amenities and a secure garden, though some guests mention a desire for a larger sofa, smart TV, and more storage space. The presence of a wood burner and the overall maintenance are positives, but the mention of a dirty dishwasher and chipped crockery indicates room for improvement.
Many guests mention the thoughtful gestures of the hosts, such as the provision of homemade scones, jam, clotted cream, and fresh eggs. While these gifts greatly enhance the guest experience, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Very well equipped. Lovely garden. Very easy to get to both north and south coasts of Cornwall. Nearest shop around 5 minutes drive away. Bed was a bit lumpy ( I know this is a personal view!). Limited space in the bedroom for storage- fine for me on my own for a week but I think a couple might need more Sofa was comfortable for me but again I think a couple there for more than a few days would need more space. Also a smart TV would be good - I took a Fire Stick to get movies etc. Beautiful setting. Very peaceful and very clean. With good heating and a fantastic wood burner this would be good at any time of the year

Very clean and well equipped, would recommend to couples who get on well as it's very compact.
