This stylish bolthole for two is in the charming village of Kilkhampton, close to the Devon/Cornwall border. Enjoy breathtaking walks directly from the property, along footpaths and quiet country lanes, or head to the dramatic North Cornwall coast (3 miles) for an exhilarating clifftop hike. There are some truly stunning beaches within easy reach of the cottage, including the wild and rugged Duckpool Beach, just 3.5 miles away. In the evenings, soak up the sunshine in the spacious garden or curl up in the glow of the roaring wood burner.
The bright and airy abode has an open-plan layout with contemporary furniture and vibrant soft furnishings. Relax here, after a long walk, snuggled up in an armchair in front of the cosy wood burner with your favourite film on the Smart TV. The carefully designed kitchen area has everything needed to whip up a tasty dinner for two, which you can enjoy at the sweet dining table. In one corner of the room is a sumptuous king-size bed to sink into at the end of the day. A compact shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed garden has a sunny patio for al fresco dining, as well as sun loungers for those long, summer evenings. There’s also a spacious lawn that’s perfect for four-pawed guests.
Journey into Bude (5.5 miles) to enjoy its traditional seaside charm, sandy beaches, tidal sea pool, picturesque canal, and a plethora of cosy pubs and restaurants. Alternatively, spend a peaceful afternoon exploring the network of walking trails around the pretty village of Boscastle (18 miles), or uncover the myths and legends at the historic Tintagel Castle (23 miles). Crossing the border into Devon, you’ll soon reach the idyllic fishing village of Clovelly (12 miles), known for its steep, cobbled streets, flower-covered cottages, and picture-postcard harbour.

We had a lovely stay in Kilkhampton. Very clean and comfortable. All the utensils required and easy to use appliances. Lovely cake, milk, and dog treats on arrival. Sofa incredibly comfortable. Lovely garden for the dogs, our lab loved it, unfortunately our saluki had to stay on a long lead, due to a large gap in the hedge straight onto a grass verge and road. Thank you for a great break

The stay in the house was home from home. We took our Labrador and he will not hesitate to return for the numerous walks, beaches and treats that were provided. Everything was provided and all the fittings and furniture are top quality. Would highly recommend
