The lovely fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey, and Polperro are 15 miles south, while Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath are a pleasant drive on the North Coast. Visit Siblyback Lake for sailing, fishing, and watersports or Bodmin Moor for great walking. Plymouth is just a short train ride from Liskeard station and 15 miles from the Eden project.

The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we could have wanted or needed. We go away to avoid fireworks for our senior dog and the location was very quiet. We also have a reactive dog and were nervous about being on a site but the lodges are well spaced out and this particular one is secluded by a hedge which was great for privacy. We are already thinking about booking for next year but may try a different lodge with different facilities on the site. We really didnât want to come home.

This was our third visit. Something that is very important to us is that it is pet-friendly. However, there is one thing we would like to comment on. The furniture and décor in the place are looking a bit tired now. A little makeover would put this place back on top.
