Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at the cottage, praising its homely feel, cleanliness, and the hot tub as a highlight. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall, with many mentioning its proximity to beaches and local amenities. Comfort is noted with comfy beds and well-equipped living spaces, though some minor issues with furniture comfort were mentioned. Facilities generally meet expectations, but some guests noted the absence of Wi-Fi and minor maintenance issues. Thoughtful touches like extra towels and games were appreciated, although it's noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it was 'spotlessly clean' and 'well kept'. However, a few guests mentioned areas for improvement, such as outdoor furniture cleaning, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for being close to beaches and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. The convenience and beauty of the site contribute to a high score in this category.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the caravan cosy, but there are comments about stiff sofas and one mention of an uncomfortable bed. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort score, but the mixed feedback on furniture comfort affects the overall rating.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and the addition of a hot tub. However, several guests mentioned the lack of Wi-Fi and some minor maintenance issues like a faulty toaster and absence of an iron, which impacts the score.

The provision of extra towels, games, and helpful information in the property are seen as thoughtful gestures. While these touches are appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

Goonhavern is a bustling neighbourhood featuring a historic inn, a general store, a garden centre, and a playground for kids. The community, once recognised for producing the best tin, still has remnants of its rich history, such as abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and workers' cottages to show for it. At low tide, Perranporth's three-mile-long sandy beach is surrounded by rugged rocks that are ideal for rock pooling.

We thought it was reasnobly priced considering it had a hot tub. The TVs reception was hit and miss mainly on BBC, some cleanliness issues, when the main bed was stripped prior to leaving there was some stains on the matress cover but not on the matress. The toilet brush lid in the toilet had rust spots and some staines on the bathroom radiator.

The hot tub was a bonus but due to the weather we only used it once. The facilities on site were disappointing but we went at the beginning of September so perhaps they were at the end of the season.
