Bos Lowen in Cornwall is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and excellent location near Mousehole. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and the thoughtful touch of a cream tea on arrival. The property's narrow access and church bells are noted, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleaning issues upon arrival. The overall high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Mousehole, local eateries, and attractions like the Minack Theatre and St Michael's Mount. The scenic walks and peaceful village setting are also appreciated, despite some concerns about the narrow access lane.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds, the warmth of the cottage, and the cosy living spaces. The property is described as a comfortable retreat after exploring Cornwall, with a few remarks about the need for better heating control.
The cottage is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests are satisfied with the facilities provided. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a dripping tap, broken garden chair, and the need for better control over heating, which slightly lowers the score.
