Cornerstone is a contemporary, detached holiday home situated on the outskirts of Penzance, Cornwall. This pet-friendly abode enjoys a large, enclosed garden with a bubbling hot tub, furniture to dine alfresco and a pond, perfect for families, friends and two dogs. Enter the gated driveway and step inside the home, where you will find the white-glossed kitchen with an island to prepare home-cooked meals. Gather at the dining table to tuck-into a feast; afterwards savour a glass of wine in the conservatory as you admire your surroundings, which is shaded with palm trees. Catch-up on your favourite shows in the light and airy sitting room and when the sky darkens, watch the stars from the hot tub in the rear garden. When eyes tire, there are three bedrooms on the ground floor, with two king-size bedrooms with a TV, one with an en-suite shower room, and a bunk room with a TV, ideal for the younger ones. Venture upstairs to the first floor to discover another king-size bed with a TV, an en-suite and Velux windows to see the starry sky. Head into the heart of the town of Penzance, home to a quint harbour and promenade for coastal views, as well as the National Trust - Trengwainton Garden for a 16th century home. Spend the day in the picturesque town of St Ives, where you stroll along Porthgwidden Beach, relax on the sand, or take a swim in the sea. There are also plenty of restaurants and pubs in St Ives, as well as a variety of shops, so you can enjoy a bit of retail therapy during your stay. Also within easy reach is the town of Marazion; here you can paddle in crystal clear water, sunbathe on sandy beaches, and dine out with a great selection of eateries to choose from. Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival are all held in Penzance. Additionally, there are the Penlee, Newlyn, and Exchange art galleries. The breathtaking sweep of Mount's Bay, which stretches from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to lovely Marazion, is one of Cornwall's most well-liked vacation spots. The coastline conceals a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. The National Trust's breathtakingly gorgeous St. Michael's Mount, with its hilltop fortress and Mediterranean gardens, is connected by a causeway to the sea at Marazion.

I would recommend that they replace all the large mattresses as they are not very comfortable. The living room sofas are lovely and comfortable but we didn't use the conservatory ones as these had a lot of stains likely from wet costumes from the hot tub. Property is in a good position to travel out to see other places. We had a great stay, was quiet and peaceful

House was spotless and clean, ample.of all items were available for use. Bedding and towels were exceptionally clean and good quality. The Cornish welcome pack was a pleasant surprise. A few signs of age and use but overall very good, slight issues with the hot tub, started fine but by Thursday could have had water ph levels checked as we found it unusable for the last couple of days. Maybe a mid week check of levels would be appropriate, other than that highly recommended.

Maintinence issues need to be addressed as you will probably be aware of Beds need an update although only the one was slept in as other family members were poorly and couldnât come These issues would not stop us booking Cornerstones again as overall it was very comfortable
