Spend the day in the picturesque town of St Ives, where you stroll along Porthgwidden Beach, relax on the sand, or take a swim in the sea. There are also plenty of restaurants and pubs in St Ives, as well as a variety of shops, so you can enjoy a bit of retail therapy during your stay. Also within easy reach is the town of Marazion; here you can paddle in crystal clear water, sunbathe on sandy beaches, and dine out with a great selection of eateries to choose from. Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival are all held in Penzance. Additionally, there are the Penlee, Newlyn, and Exchange art galleries. The breathtaking sweep of Mount's Bay, which stretches from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to lovely Marazion, is one of Cornwall's most well-liked vacation spots. The coastline conceals a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore.
