Gorran Haven, on Cornwall's south coast, was formerly a crab fishing community and is now a great base for exploring the area's various beaches and bays. Gorran Haven features a small sandy beach behind a classic sea wall that connects to the wider Great Perhaver beach at low tide, making it a popular family beach. The National Trust owns much of the shoreline in this region, which is easily accessible from the South West Coast Path.
