Lodge 23 in Torpoint, Cornwall, offers stunning views and a peaceful setting, ideal for both human and canine guests. The property is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and homely feel, with thoughtful touches like milk and biscuits on arrival. While some guests noted issues with maintenance and access, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many looking forward to returning.
The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy upon arrival. However, a few guests mentioned finding dirty dishes and areas under furniture that could use more attention, slightly affecting the overall score.
The location is highly praised for its amazing views and proximity to local attractions and beaches. The peaceful setting and natural surroundings contribute to a positive experience, although access challenges due to the slope and distance from the car park are noted.
Guests find the lodge comfortable and homely, with a great layout and enclosed veranda for pets. However, several guests reported issues with uncomfortable beds and the need for fans during warmer nights, which impacts the comfort score.
The lodge is well-equipped with necessary amenities and storage, but some guests reported maintenance issues such as a faulty oven and extractor fan. The site's facilities are appreciated, though the additional parking fee and closed swimming pool during some visits are drawbacks.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful gestures, such as providing milk, biscuits, and other essentials on arrival. These small touches enhance the welcoming atmosphere, although it should be noted that such gifts are a courtesy and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Great location for the beech, super quiet and great views over to Plymouth. The inside of the lodge was great, excellent facilities and everything provided so 5*. If I was to raise anything it would be the decking area could do with a bit of TLC. This is in no way criticism but more feedback on what if anything could make the stay complete. Great value, great location, great facilities and the weather was with us also. Will be back!!!!

Very clean and tidy on arrival. Fresh bottle of milk in the fridge on arrival and tea bags, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and sauces. Ideal if anything was forgotten. Neighbours were polite and friendly. All good. Will look to return next year.

Other than that the lodge was great.
