Par village is located on the South Cornwall coast offering a sandy family and dog-friendly beach (dogs allowed all year round) on St. Austell Bay. The village is only 2.5 miles away from the internationally renowned Eden Project, which can be reached on foot through the leafy green Luxulyan Valley. Between Par and the picturesque harbour of Fowey, is the Gribbin Peninsula, which has magnificent views of the surrounding coastline and makes for an excellent walk. Close to Par are many places connected to the author Daphne du Maurier, including the small cove at Polkerris which boasts the Rashleigh Arms and which takes its name from a local landowner whose house was frequented by the author. There are many attractions in the area including the China Clay Country Park, Charlestown Shipwreck Museum and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There was a lovely complementary basket which was lovely. The location Is great as its quite central and close to the beaches (dog friendly) the garden ws great too especially for outside dining and was well maintained. The only issues we had while there were with our car but the owners stepped in and drove us in to town to get a part which was such a great help! I would highly recommend this property!!!

Lovely welcome gift on arrival. We we're delighted with the cleanliness and the facilities in the property, it was well equipped with everything you would need and more. The best bathroom we have ever seen, with both walk in shower and jacuzzi bath. 3 large bedrooms with a lot of storage space, all the rooms in the house were ample. There were games for kids and adults. The garden area was spacious , with a covered patio area with bbq. Lots to do in the area. Eden project close by plus many other places to go. On the whole a great stay and not forgetting beautiful cat Belle who came to visit.
