Guests have enjoyed their stays at the Beer Lace Shop, appreciating its excellent location close to the beach, shops, and coastal walks. The property is well-maintained with a well-equipped kitchen and a garden that is perfect for dogs. While some guests found the cottage to be clean, tidy, and spacious, others noted it could benefit from some refurbishment and a deeper clean.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and tidy, while one review mentioned it needs a deep clean. The majority did not raise cleanliness as an issue, suggesting it is generally satisfactory.
The location is highly praised by all reviewers for its proximity to the village centre, beach, and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for a holiday.
Most guests found the cottage comfortable, mentioning the garden and the comfortable beds. However, there were comments about steep stairs and less satisfactory showers, which suggests room for improvement.
The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as the need for TLC, plumbing problems, and a lack of some essentials.
There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Fantastic location, great walks for the dogs and close to all amenities five star cottage
Mr Collins
Large family holiday home with a good atmosphere, nice location and a usable garden. Overall amenities were okay but the decoration and cleanliness of the cottage were disappointing. The toilet plumbing also needs close attention. With some work I would recommend this property but not currently.
