Head upstairs and the three bedrooms are located on the first floor. With two double bedrooms and a smaller twin room, this is an ideal choice for couples or families alike. Outside, there is a pedestrian path which runs along the front of these charming cottages and across the path, steps take you down to your enclosed garden. With a decked seating area and rope balustrading surround, this is a wonderful spot to sit with an evening drink watching the sun setting over the village. A short walk down Long Hill takes you to the village's main street and its delightful array of local artisan shops, pubs and a good selection of restaurants. On sunny days take a leisurely stroll down to the beach, a family-friendly shingle beach with its iconic limestone cliffs and a popular spot for swimming and water sports. Here you can soak up the sun, enjoy a bite to eat or sit and watch the fishing boats come and go. For those who enjoy walking, there are numerous coastal and countryside paths nearby including the Southwest Coast path which offers far-reaching coastal views along this stretch of the Jurassic Coast. For a welcome day out, head to neighbouring Lyme Regis, a popular destination renowned for its fossil heritage and iconic cobb wall and harbour. Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the popular Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a children's play area. Beer is a unique Devon fishing village and a great place to stay.
