Guests say

Guests have found the property to be generally clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located for dog walks and access to Lyme Regis. The property has been described as comfortable, with a few noting issues with road noise and radiator control. The outdoor space has received mixed reviews, and while some guests appreciated the welcome pack, it should be noted that such amenities are subject to change and not guaranteed.

The property has been praised for its cleanliness, particularly inside. However, there have been comments about a dirty living area floor and mattresses, as well as the outdoor space, which detract slightly from the overall high standards of cleanliness.

The location is well-regarded for its proximity to Lyme Regis and suitability for dog walks, with a handy bus stop across the road. Some guests mentioned road noise, but overall the location is seen as a positive aspect of the property.

Comfort levels are generally good, with adequate space and furnishings. Some guests experienced issues with a low ceiling, weak Wifi in the main bedroom, and uncontrollable heating, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

Facilities like the kitchen and parking are appreciated, but there have been some concerns about maintenance, particularly regarding the outdoor space, thermostat, and bathroom windows. These issues indicate that while the facilities are adequate, they could benefit from more attention.

While guests have mentioned a welcome pack and homely touches, there is not enough consistent information about the thoughtfulness of the host to provide a score. It is important to note that such amenities are a bonus and not guaranteed.

... Sadly, the property was very tired and in need of thorough a freshen up. We've never encountered so many items within a holiday home that were broken or didn't work. Cleanliness wasn't the best, with mould present in every room too. We found mouldy crockery in the cupboard. The property smelt damp and unpleasant. We came home a day early, to avoid having to sleep in the uncomfortable beds another night. Can't say we will be returning.

Plenty of space and well furnished. It was really well located for dog walks, with routes around forests and the lim path down to town or the sea. Our only niggle was road noise. Effort had gone into sound proofing the bedrooms but the windows in the bathrooms were hard to close meaning noise still got in.

Handy bus stop across the road and lots of lovely walks for our dog. The walk alone the river to Lyme Regis is a must. The private parking space just across the lane is a God send. We’ll be back.
