Guests say

Salters is a well-received holiday cottage in Devon, praised for its peacefulness, cleanliness, and comfortable amenities. Set on a working farm, guests enjoy the tranquil, rural setting and the proximity to nature. The property is described as a perfect getaway, with a secure garden for pets and a cosy atmosphere. The local pub, The Black Dog, is mentioned for its lovely food, adding to the charm of the area.

Guests consistently note the property as 'very clean', 'spotless', and 'tidy', indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and beautiful surroundings on a working farm. However, some guests note the remoteness and the narrow access roads, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

Reviews highlight comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen, contributing to a restful stay. One guest mentioned firm single beds, but this seems to be an isolated preference.

The property is well-equipped with necessary amenities, though some guests mention slow Wi-Fi and a small oven. The absence of a TV is noted, but not typically seen as a drawback.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Remote and quiet, a real escape. However, if you love your car, the long single track road to the cottage may not be for you. My Octavia is not a tractor but it looked like one after our visit and needed a deep clean and polish to erase the score marks down both sides. And our car is a workhorse serving our needs to carry bikes and materials for our allotment!

A beautiful converted barn. Very clean and well thought out. Lovely shower, comfy bed. We really enjoyed being on a working farm watching the sheep and cows come home, literally right past our kitchen window. Brilliant! Hen and Ollie were very friendly as well as their 3 well behaved dogs
