Modern holiday home chalet, close to village amenities and a wonderful sandy surfing beach.
A spacious modern holiday chalet, which has been recently refurbished with coordinated furnishings and well equipped kitchen area. The property is set out all on one level with a air source under-floor heating, to ensure year round warmth. The open plan living area has two comfy sofas, large TV and electric Dimplex wood effect fire, guests can open the patio doors onto the front patio area, which is fully enclosed. Three bedrooms are just off the hallway with a Kingsize master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and smart TV, Bedroom 2 has 2'6" twin beds which can be put together to form a kingsize bed if required and bedroom three has a signle bed. All bedrooms are serviced by the main family bathroom which has a square end bath with shower over, wc and basin.
Set within minutes of the beautiful dune backed sandy surfing beach at Croyde and only a short walk to the picturesque village with surf hire shops, restaurants and pubs Pipedream really has it all when looking for a beachside holiday home. There are plenty of beaches to choose from, with the vast sands of Saunton only a mile up the road, or slightly further afield you have Woolacombe and Putsborough beaches, both renowned for their great surf, interesting rock pools and family friendly nature. For keen walkers and cyclists the beautiful Exmoor National Park is easily accessible where you can enjoy invigorating walks, whilst taking in the wonderful scenery.

Visited 31st October for a 4 night break. Whilst the interior of the property offers an acceptable level of comfort, externally both the property together with surrounding properties could do with a makeover. The parking is not good if you have a decent sized car, the entrance is very narrow, however parking outside on the road was not a problem. At £730.00 for the 4 nights is not valid for money. We usually stay in Woolacombe where the properties we have stayed are in better locations with equivalent levels of comfort, at more reasonable price. In some instances up to £200 less for the same 4 nights. We decided to give Croyde a try as , a Though we have visited many times in the 30 odd years of visiting the area we had never stayed in the village. The Thatch pub has always had a good reputation, we ate here for lunch and evening meals twice and we were not disappointed. The Kings Arms in Georgian is also within easy reach, a pub we eat at every year during our stays in Woolacombe. There is a very good restaurant in Croyde, Th New Coast, fairly expensive but excellent food. All in all the village had all we needed, however we will not be be stopping at Pipedream again.

Location is great, spacious light & airy accommodation. Located in a cul-de-sac is perfect only a short walk from the beach and coastal walks, local shops, pubs and amenities would tempt us back to the area. Parking is fine, outside shower very for a post swim rinse. Hose pipe a great addition when shampooing a sea drenched pooch. We were extremely lucky with the weather, remember to book the sun!
