If you can tear yourself away from the de-lights of this charming town, you'll find miles of glorious golden sand decorating the nearby coast-line, ideal for spending peaceful afternoons lounging on the sand, building sandcastles or paddling the shores; thrill-seekers can even tackle the waves with a variety of watersports opportunities available at Combe Martin Beach. Be sure to spend the day visiting the seaside resort of Ilfracombe, where you can come face-to-face with fascinating marine wildlife at The Ilfracombe Aquarium, or simply watch the world go by with a seat alongside the harbour. Berrynarbor is a peaceful, picturesque village nestled in the Sterridge Valley, surrounded by woodlands and farms. The village has a friendly atmosphere, a well-stocked shop, and a pub serving food. The area is renowned for its remarkable coastal cliffs and rural landscape, making it a haven for walkers, birdwatchers, and artists. The North Devon Coastal Path offers great walks and stunning scenery, while Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe are all within easy reach and offer activities for the whole family.
