For walking enthusiasts, you will be spoilt for choice as you can walk from your cottage into the pretty little village of Lee, with its shingle beach surrounded by cliffs which is popular for paddleboarders, or take a kayak out around the coastline and discover hidden beaches. Woolacombe, only 2.5 miles away, offers 3 miles of soft golden sands. Enjoy a stroll around the local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Exmoor National Park is only 12 miles and offers stunning moorland and woodland walks, and pretty little villages that offer local cuisine, craft shops, and local events throughout the year.

Loved our stay at Rolling hills. The cottage was beautiful outside and in, comfortable, spotless, cosy and complete with mod cons. Perfect location, quite and very close to beautiful beaches where we spent most days exploring with our two dogs. Derek and Lynda were very welcoming, there when we needed advice but also respected our privacy. Thanks for a great holiday.

The peaceful and safe cottage is very lovely, well equipped, immaculately clean, and comfortable. It is set in beautiful countryside with the bonus of many walks starting at the door. Other places of interest are nearby and accessible by car. I noticed that there was a bus service in Lee Bay, too. The informative communication from the owner prior to the holiday was helpful, as was subsequent contact when on holiday. The lady and gentleman who were immediately nearby were welcoming, friendly , and helpful. Thank you to them.
