The famous steam railway runs from Kingswear to Brixham and Paignton with a bus services on to Torquay included if required. Dartmouth is located on the banks of the lovely River Dart estuary in South Devon's renowned and attractive South Hams region. Dartmouth, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and near to the shore, is one of Devon's most popular tourist attractions. It has a beautiful shoreline, old small streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, as well as the Dartmouth Food Festival, which takes place every October.

Note: The property is situated on a steep hill and is a steep walk from the town centre therefore may not be suitable for the less mobile.

Parking - the cottage enjoys an allocated space in a new private parking area opposite on Jawbones Hill (construction currently delayed).

There is also unrestricted parking directly outside and down pretty Crowthers Hill, as an alternative; there is ample pay and display parking facilities near by.Note: property accepts a minimum of 3 nights.

Note: Property accepts 1 small well behaved dog for a supplement of £25 per week.
