Hope Cove is a lovely and unspoiled settlement on Devon's south coast, nestled in the sheltering curve of Bigbury Bay. The two beaches feature soft sand and rock pools for sandcastle construction and tiny crab catching, making it a popular family vacation. The settlement is still a fishing community where crabs and lobsters are landed, but it was previously a smuggler's hideaway.
