The cottage's location in a peaceful hamlet with proximity to a local pub, scenic walks, and attractions like Dartmoor and the coast is highly valued by guests, contributing to a serene and convenient stay.

Reviews frequently highlight the comfort of the cottage, with comfortable bedding and a cosy atmosphere. The spacious garden adds to the comfort, although one guest mentioned the TV size as a minor drawback.

It was very clean and warm. The bed was comfortable and allowed a good night's sleep as the area has no light pollution and is dark and quiet. The kitchen was well equiped and had a good outlook over the garden to watch the wild birds feeding. Liked the large walk in shower. From the small conversation I had with the owner about the key to the property it shows they care that all went smoothly. I am sure if I had had a problem they would be there to sort the problem quickly.

Comfortable, everything you need in the kitchen and lovely big garden. Very handy for the Manor Inn, literally just across the road, they do an amazing Sunday Roast. Very friendly owners who leave you to it but are on hand by just a phone call.
