I come to Holcombe every year for the past 8 years or so. Unfortunately this year as soon as we opened the front door it stank of dogs in every room. We kept getting door hairs in and on our bed. We wouldnât even sit in the snug. I went out and bought cleaning items to try and make it better. But the smell is on the rugs, carpets and furniture. If we werenât in bed or sat at the kitchen table we went out. The love heart wooden board chopping board smelled awful as though it had been used to feed dogs off it. I put it outside as didnât want charging for binning it. Itâs certainly put me off from coming again as even after cleaning things and spraying etc the smell is still very strong. The whole place needs a deep clean as the cleaners can only do so much with the time that they are given

We had breakfast on the patio every morning.,lovely sunny garden.Beach ten minutes walk ,dog went swimming and had a lovely time,we did go for a paddle , not as brave as our dog .Nice walk to Teinmouth along beach,and to Dawlish .lots of nice places to visit .
