The kitchen/diner has tasteful slate floors and houses a good selection of amenities and dining spaces, so guests can cook up a storm and enjoy their meal together. When the sun is shining, head out into the pretty gardens and enjoy morning coffee with a backdrop of mature shrubs and birds singing. As the evening wears on, freshen up in the ground-floor shower room or bathroom, before cosying up into one of the three bedrooms, choosing between a king-size with basin, a double, and a single. The property rests within walking distance of the Kestor Inn, where you can enjoy a hearty meal or a glass of your favourite beverage, and there are more amenities and eateries in the close by village of Moretonhampstead. A short distance away you will find Becky Falls, and with many more picturesque walks close by, ideal for birdwatching and taking in the fresh rural air. Options include those at Grimspound, Hound Tor Deserted Medieval Village, the East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve, and Haytor Rocks. For a day at the seaside, or watersports activities, head over to the bustling coastal towns of Teignmouth, Torquay, and Paignton, ideal for strolls along the sand and taking a dip in the waves. Nearby you will find the market town of Chagford, also dotted with cafes and eateries, whilst Exeter is a car journey away, home to several manicured gardens, River Exe, and Barley Valley Nature Reserve.
