From here, explore the national park and discover hundreds of miles of scenic walking, cycling and horse riding trails, through forests, rivers, winding valleys, wetlands and tors, you may even see grazing Dartmoor Ponies. Head north towards the coast and discover the historic port town of Bideford, with its heritage railway centre and Big Sheep family amusement park, as well Westward Ho! with its lovely sandy beach, backed by the Northam Burrows Country Park, and from here, walkers can join the South West Coast Path in either direction to enjoy some incredible coastal scenery.
