This sensitively restored farm cottage in the hamlet of East Ash, is a mile from Whiddon Down and also a mile from the picturesque village of Throwleigh within Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Perfect for a group of friends or adventurers, the characterful, homely and stylish interior warmly welcomes you. The open-plan living area with wooden beams and a large inglenook fireplace with original bread oven is a reminder of the centuries over which this has been a dwelling. The fireplace now houses a large woodburner to warm those cooler evenings. Everyone can gather together for a cosy end to the day and make the most of the beautiful duck egg coloured kitchen, centred by a table and chairs. Upstairs, discover three bedrooms; the master suite is spacious and charming, with its own shower cubicle, and there is another double bedroom; fabulous views from both these rooms look out across the calming and beautiful countryside. There is a third cosy single bedroom with a Velux window. A charming family bathroom ties this all together, with a unique decorative mosaic. There is a second toilet downstairs. After a peaceful night's sleep, why not spend a moment in the sun room? A stunning spot to settle down amidst the natural scenery. The cottage has been lovingly furnished with beautiful fabrics, subtle colours and wonderful original paintings. Outside you can enjoy the small enclosed patio garden with open fields beyond.
