Elm Villa in Wareham is a well-situated, clean, and comfortable property with a homely feel. Guests appreciate its proximity to local amenities and the Dorset coast. The garden and conservatory are highlights, though some maintenance issues are noted. Parking can be challenging, but manageable with awareness of restrictions.
The property is consistently described as clean, with one review mentioning it was 'spotless'. However, a couple of reviews noted a need for airing out and a foisty smell in some rooms.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to the town centre, local amenities, and the Dorset coast, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a homely atmosphere. The conservatory is a plus for relaxation. However, some guests noted the need for a handrail on the stairs for additional safety.
Facilities like board games and a PlayStation are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working radiators, a leak in the conservatory, and the need for oven gloves. The garden is also noted to require some care.
While guests have mentioned appreciating the provision of cleaning supplies and games, there is no mention of gifts, and therefore it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. As such, this score is set to null.

Only down side is no parking outside property but parking in the church car park 100 yrds away worked well, we just moved it to the High street whilst the services were on. Wareham and surrounding area beautiful, plenty to see and do, will definitely be back.

We were unable to use this room. Rain came through the ceiling of the conservatory,, the floor had to be mopped and a bucket and pan used to catch the drips. The bricked area outside was quite slippery and uneven in parts. The stairs felt quite steep and would have benefited from a handrail on the left going up extended around the curve at the top. Despite all of this the house was comfy, warm and homely.
Kerry
It was spacious, comfortable & had almost everything we needed. 5 people & one dog were well catered for. Despite having a few problems with the tv, no parking close to the house & not having any oven gloves, we had a great week.
