Guests say

Yarrow is a spacious property with stunning sea views, ideal for family gatherings. Guests appreciate its clean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and generous welcome pack. The location is perfect for beach access and exploring Dorset. While some maintenance issues are noted, the property's potential and the responsive maintenance team are highlighted.

The property is generally found to be clean and well-maintained, with a few isolated incidents of overlooked areas. Guests have mentioned finding dog poo in the garden and sweets under sofas, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its superb views and proximity to the beach and local attractions. It is considered perfect for exploring Charmouth and the surrounding Dorset area.

Comfort is rated positively for the property's spaciousness and bedding quality. However, some guests have reported issues with uncomfortable mattresses and noise travelling easily through the house, which affects the overall comfort level.

Facilities are adequate with a well-stocked kitchen and utility room, but several guests have reported maintenance issues such as problematic ovens, non-working outdoor lights, and poor Wi-Fi connectivity. The maintenance team is responsive, but recurring issues suggest room for improvement.

The provision of a generous welcome pack is well-received, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as these gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, they are a delightful bonus rather than a consistent offering.

The sliding doors are temperamental and do not always lock. If you want/ need WiFi this is not the property for you, although this didn't bother us. One of the tub chairs is broken (springs sticking through) and one of the downstairs single beds also has springs sticking through. Many of the pans do not work on the hob- they are not induction compatible. Garden needs some TLC. Outside chairs on the roof terrace are broken. On the positives: Easy to find. Super location for visiting the local beaches and places of interest. Some great places to eat nearby.

The facilities kitchen, bathrooms all spotless and well stocked. The welcome pack was one of the best we have had. Well thought out and generous. The internet worked but is very slow and the TV signal also has a poor reception. We were supposed to put the towels in clear plastic bags but the previous occupants or cleaners had used them as bin liners. There were no other bin liners provided and the bins were full to overflowing. Overall it's a superb property and we would happily come back there.

We did not give this 5 stars because: - one of the lounge chairs had broken springs and some outdoor chairs were in poor condition - headroom upstairs was limited, especially for tall people - the dishwasher seals had gone, so it leaked. Could do with more smaller saucepans - the rubbish hadn't been collected (a point often mentioned before), the bins were full by the time we left. The bins said no food waste but there was nowhere else to put it and our enquiries couldn't answer this point - no recycling facilities, which is very poor for the environment - all other properties in the road had their bins and recycling collected.
