Little Ascot is a well-received holiday cottage in Lyme Regis, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. Guests enjoy the property's location, suitable for walks to the town and beach. The modernised shower room and secure gardens are highlights, although some guests noted issues with kitchen facilities and the conservatory temperature.
Guests consistently describe the property as very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.
The location is frequently praised for its proximity to Lyme Regis and scenic walks, though some guests find the hills challenging. Overall, the location is considered excellent.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfortable beds and a homely feel. However, one comment about a mattress not being the best slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, but several guests reported issues with the gas hob and cutlery, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome gifts and Christmas tree provided. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive impact without setting an expectation.

Other than that it was a lovely cottage in an excellent location within walking distance for our 2 small children to get to the beach. One issue with the drain was fixed promptly by the maintenance team which was very good.

Beds were incredibly comfortable and shower was very easy to use. Washing machine came in useful for wet towels. Enclosed garden was ideal for our dog, although road was a little dangerous.
