Towards the rear of the house, is the real heart of this home with a stylish yet individual kitchen perfectly equipped for family holidays and informal eating around the farmhouse style kitchen table. Doors open onto a delightful courtyard seating area, with table and chairs, considered planting and feature lighting creating a space to savour alfresco dining or a sociable drink during the warmer summer evenings. The separate and more relaxed garden sitting room is a delight with French doors flooding the room with light and opening onto the courtyard. The town has a superb selection of independent shops perfect for everyday needs, including local delis and the Town Mill bakery. Food lovers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to meals out, whether its savouring fish and chips on the seafront or enjoying one of the many popular pubs serving freshly cooked local produce. For a special occasion why not try The Oyster and Fish House or Tom’s on the seafront, both offering unrivalled views of the sea. When it comes to days out, head to nearby Beer, a quaint village surrounded by white chalk cliffs, the shingle beach is lined with fishing boats still bringing in their daily catches and is famous for its mackerel.
