The Coach House in Lyme Regis offers a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and clean interiors. Guests appreciate the quiet location with sea views, though some noted a steep walk to the property. The house's spaciousness and the host's hospitality are highlights, despite some minor maintenance issues and a lack of welcome gifts.
The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with specific praise for a clean interior and comfortable furnishings. However, there were instances of blocked plumbing and pet hair on the rug, which suggest room for improvement in deep cleaning routines.
The location is highly regarded for its quietness and lovely sea views, as well as easy access to the town. The steep walk to the property may be challenging for some, but overall, the location is seen as a positive aspect.
Guests find the beds and sofa very comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay. The property offers ample space and a great view from the back bedroom, enhancing the overall comfort experienced by visitors.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but there are comments about insufficient cutlery and glassware. Maintenance issues like a creaky floor, a non-latching toilet door, and a frosted-up fridge freezer were noted, indicating a need for attention to facilities.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. As such, the score is set to null.

The accommodation was lovely and spacious, with three adults and two children, we all had plenty of room without living on top of one another. We all felt that everything was catered for. Only one negative; on three occasions when we came back from a day out we found we couldnât get onto the drive because a car had parked across it. Perhaps putting a sign up might stop this from happening in the future. However it didnât spoil our week away. Thank you Sykes Cottages for a fantastic week.

We had a lovely stay and the house had all we needed for our rainy stay over Easter. Everything was clean and comfortable and the location was spot on for easy access to the town. The beds were comfortable and the road quiet. Will definitely want to stay again!

The only couple of things I would recommend is more than one towel per person, should have a towel for hair too. Instructions for everything except the washer/dryer would be helpful. Also the instructions about the use of the property could have been a bit more friendly, they were quite dictatorial
