Situated in a peaceful location on a smallholding in Dorset surrounded by wildlife, The Nest is an attractive and well-appointed shepherds hut complete with kitchen and hot tub, and with two village pubs a short walk away.

One of a pair of bespoke handmade oak shepherds huts, The Nest is located in the peaceful Dorset farming village of Powerstock, and sits overlooking a pretty valley with countryside views all around. With horses, pigs and sheep as neighbours, as well as owls and a very tame roe deer, you're guaranteed a memorable break with plenty of comfort and luxury to help you relax.

The stylish centrally heated accommodation comes complete with a well-equipped kitchen with a small dining area, a cosy bedroom area with television, and a sofa for two facing the french doors. There's a Welcome hamper with some local goodies to help you settle in. The comfortable shower room has walk-in rainfall shower, wash basin, heated towel rail, and fully plumbed flushing WC. Towels and complementary eco toiletries are supplied. The double french doors let the sunshine flood in, and you can relax in comfort as you enjoy some food looking out across the valley and listening to the birdsong. Outside is a lawned area with chairs and a firepit, where you can sit and enjoy the countryside views or gaze up at the night sky and hear the owls hoot. A timber screened enclosure next to the hut houses the hot tub, which we will heat ready for your arrival on request.

Guests can enjoy the special surrounding Dorset countryside, and explore nearby Eggardon Hill Fort, or Powerstock Common. Situated just five miles from the popular town of Bridport, the hut is also well situated for exploring the nearby Jurassic Coast, West Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis, and the numerous quaint villages nearby.

One well behaved dog welcome or two small dogs at owners discretion (small additional charge).

Please keep dogs off the furniture and on leads when outside, due to livestock being on the farm including sheep, horses and pygmy goats.
