The cottage is perfect and a home away from home. Very clean and has everything you needed. Tracey was a wonderful host, there if you needed her but otherwise left to go about your holiday as you wish. The cottage is a short walk to Cinderford town centre, where you will be greeted by an array of shops and plenty of food establishments. The golden lion pub in Cinderford was very welcoming and family friendly, highly recommend a visit. Perrygrove railway is a short drive away and perfect for children, as is the Wye butterfly zoo. All in all myself, my husband and our 2 and a half year old daughter had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a cottage when we back visiting the beautiful Forest of Dean. Thankyou Forest coach house for a fantastic break! And thankyou for the treats left on our arrival.

The dog treats and chocolates on arrival were a very nice surprise. I can honestly say that this is a truly exceptional holiday cottage and certainly the best cottage we have stayed in over the many years exploring the UK. It was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for a home away from home. Being located next to the Forest of Dean, makes it the perfect base for exploring the forest, with multiple walking options only a short drive away. The secure pet friendly garden, means that your dog is free to safely explore. Whilst we didn't have the best weather during the week we stayed, the quality of the accommodation more than made up for it. It is a cottage and location that we will definitely be returning to.
