Guests say

The Hideaway in Somerset is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches, including welcome packs. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden for dogs, the well-equipped kitchen, and the hot tub, despite some finding it challenging to operate. The property's peaceful location is ideal for exploring local attractions, and the host, Jane, is commended for her hospitality.

Guests generally find The Hideaway to be spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, one review mentioned cleanliness issues, which slightly impacts the overall high standard noted by others.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as a positive feature, with its proximity to beaches and local attractions like Cheddar Gorge. The quiet, countryside setting is also appreciated for its tranquillity and privacy.

Comfort is consistently praised, with guests mentioning the good size bed, air conditioning, and overall cosy atmosphere. The enclosed garden adds to the comfort for pet owners, ensuring a stress-free experience.

Facilities such as the kitchen and Wi-Fi are well-regarded, but the hot tub receives mixed reviews due to the effort required to operate it. Some guests suggest improvements in garden furniture and the addition of a drying rack.

The thoughtfulness of the host is evident in the welcome packs and dog-friendly amenities. While these are highly appreciated and contribute to the positive experience, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.
