This includes the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, as well as the excellent beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Just a short drive away is the market town of Chard which has shops, interesting buildings and is well served with places to eat and drink. Most major shops are available in nearby Taunton. Forde Abbey Country House is perfect for a day out, enjoy a bite to eat at the tea room or wonder around the gardens.
