George and Ash were a lovely couple to meet and the goodies were a nice surprise. Despite it taking 11 hours to reach home (due to M5 being closed and all connection roads a nightmare) we look forward staying again in the future.

George and Ash had the foresight to create the Lodge preserving the quality of the location in which it is set. If you appreciate totally dark nights under the stars and daylight bringing a pair of magnificent horses next to the garden, a chance to see stags rutting and the steam engine steaming away 100 metres from the Lodge, then you will have found perfection. Inside the Lodge you will find everything necessary for the perfect break. Fantastic holiday in a splendid place. Thank you. John
