The cottage is well-equipped and maintained, offering a relaxing break with minimal need for car use.
Reviewers unanimously commend the cottage for its immaculate cleanliness, with multiple mentions of the property being spotlessly clean and well-presented.
The location is highly praised for its tranquility, proximity to Exmoor, Porlock, and other attractions, and the overall beauty of the area. One minor note is the mention of traffic, but it is described as incredibly quiet.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with light and airy rooms, comfy beds, and a warm atmosphere during cooler evenings. The peacefulness adds to the overall comfort.
The cottage is described as well-appointed and equipped to a high standard. However, one review suggests that having only one bathroom might be an issue for a larger group, slightly impacting the score.

Luccombe Cottage is a self-contained two bedroom holiday cottage nestled at the foot of Dunkery, in the rural National Trust village of Luccombe. Just 2 miles from the sea, Luccombe Cottage is well suited to couples looking for a peaceful getaway
The kitchen is very well-equipped and includes a wide range of cooking utensils, pots and pans as well as crockery/cutlery/glassware.
Bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take them on day trips.
Heating and electricity is included. The cottage benefits from central heating throughout plus a 'electric wood-burner' in the sitting room.
Wifi is available at no extra cost.
Please note, the water supply comes from a local natural spring.
As with much of Exmoor, mobile phone reception in the cottage is very poor. However, if you turn ‘WiFi Calling’ on on your mobile you will be able to make/receive calls/texts over the cottage WiFi - you can often find this tab under Settings and then Phone, or alternatively contact your service provider and ask them to activate it.
