The kitchen comes well-equipped, ensuring you have all the mods and cons required for a short break. Venture upstairs to the bedrooms, comprising of a double and twin, served by a shower room where you can get ready for the day. During the summer months you can dip into the outdoor, heated swimming pool before planning the day’s ahead on the beautiful sundeck. Situated within Devon, close to the coast is the idyllic village of Marldon. Within this small, yet well-appointed area you will find a local pub, serving food and a Post Office with a general shop. The cottage is well furnished and also has equipment/games/books etc both inside + available from a shared storeroom. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very approachable and helpful when we encountered a couple of minor issues. The garden looks great and we would love to return in the summer when the pool is operational. Thank you.

The owners went above and beyond in supplying everything we could need on arrival, including a welcome pack of goodies, milk and bottled water in the fridge plus toiletries in the bathroom. Bed linen and towels were also provided - it felt like a 5 star hotel! The only downside was that the weather was not hot enough to heat the pool (solar heated). Would also suggest putting net curtains in the downstairs windows to give better privacy from other residents walking past the property.

Clean and comfortable. A welcome basket was waiting for us when we arrived which was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Other home comforts were also included. Lisza and family couldn't be more welcoming. Big bonus was the pool in the back garden.
